Digital-FlashWorks

Digital Flashworks

In 2000, Jyoti began using Macromedia Flash to create a series of digital art images that he namedFlashWorks. With this program, Jyoti composed more Duid images in vivid colors. The shapes appear to unfold, suggesting dynamic movement and change. In contrast to Jyoti’s earlier digital drawings that are linear, these works are biomorphic, sensual, and playful. FlashWorks are exhibited on computer monitors, large-screen projections, and prints in various sizes. A selection of individual images have also been animated as part of a series called WebMotions.
