In 1994, Jyoti began digital drawing using a laptop computer equipped with 3.1 Paintbrush program. He drew and layered circles, squares and triangles to create contemporary mandalas. In these early works, all of the images were composed entirely within the computer. Jyoti presented a variety of geometric approaches to abstraction. Drawings were exhibited on monitors, as large screen projections, and as variously-dimensioned prints.
